3 Months Old

Madison is 3 months old today! Wow, I can't believe it! She is really starting to change.
Some of the things she has started doing lately are:

• Sucking her thumb or hand
• Staring at her hand and opening and shutting it
  
• Laughing and smiling
• Talking to us
• Looking for us when she hears our voices
• Trying to sit up-she will lift her head up and attempt to sit
• Splashing and kicking her legs in the bath! She loves the bathtub!
• Watching her mobile and talking to it
• Loves to watch her big brother sing and dance for her
  
• Loves her pink poodle that Peyton gave her. She holds it, chews on it and shakes it.
• Likes to go places-even gets upset after being in the same place for too long!
• Still not sleeping through the night. : (
• Can almost roll over
• Loves to go for walks in her stroller

State Museum

Friday, we took a day trip to Columbia to the state museum. We had thought about going to the Riverbanks Zoo but when the temperature outside read 102 we decided an indoor place would be better. Peyton had a blast at the museum and Madison was great. Peyton had been there a few years ago on a field trip and enjoyed seeing all the different things and showing us his favorites. We spent around 3 hours in the museum and then went to the mall to walk around and eat dinner. Madison really enjoyed the trip she was mostly happy riding in her stroller and checking everyone out.

Happy 4th of July!

Water Park

We took Peyton and a friend to the water park last week and they had a blast! It was fun for us too! We hope to go back again before the summer is over.
