God's Plan is Always Greater Than Ours!

If you are reading this blog you probably know our story but so that I can document everything I am going to recap. We started the journey to adoption in January of 2006. We had made the decision to adopt from China and began the long paper chase process. Our paperwork was finally logged into China in August 2006. We then were told to expect a long wait. As we waited we kept thinking that this was God's plan and we would wait it out for as long as He wanted. Several times we met with our agency to discuss other options but every time we would say we will wait it out. We were so blessed when our wonderful  Lisa at the agency called and said I really think you need to put in for this domestic adoption. As it turns out she was right and we got our amazing gift of Madison. We have been so blessed with her and thought our family was complete. I of course was hoping that one day there might be another baby for us but really didn't think it could happen. Fast forward to Friday, February 10th at 5:00 pm. I got a phone call from an agency informing me that our China referral had finally come through! Imagine our shock when it was discovered that our paperwork was never removed from China. So this entire time we would have been waiting. Allen and I were both shocked to say the least. It was not something we had ever thought would happen or planned on. But once again God has a bigger plan! So we are taking a leap of faith again and we are preparing to adopt another baby girl! We have recieved pictures and a health report on our little girl. She was found on Sept. 12, 2011 and that is her estimated birthdate. She is in perfect health and waiting for forever family to come and get her. Here are the pictures we have:

We are having to update a lot of paperwork and Allen has to renew his passport. We are praying that we can get everything done quickly. There is a lot of money to be saved and paperwork to be complete but we are so excited to begin the adventure to bring her home!Peyton is preparing to  have another little princess in the house (Bless him!). Madison kisses her picture and says, "My baby!" Allen is wondering how in the world he will be able to afford me shopping for 2 girls! I am driving the agency crazy with how fast can we get there! LOL! We are so excited to meet our new little girl!

Annie Oakley?

You can dress a girl up and put flowers in her hair but when she has a big brother she likes to shoot guns! Madison was looking so sweet in her new outfit and I wanted to take some pictures but the only ones I could get were of her shooting with Peyton's nerf gun!
Madison jumps for joy!

Madison loves to shoot Peyton's nerf gun!
Making a plan with Peyton
She sure does look sweet and innocent!
