Playground Fun

Last week we visited the new playground with some friends. We had a great time playing and Madison did good just hanging out. Peyton put his big brother skills to use and helped out the little kids. I was impressed by the playground and we took a peak at the new water park and are going to try and go there soon. Hard to believe it is right here in our backyard!

All Star Pictures

Peyton made the All Star team again this year. We played ball for about 14 days straight! It was a very busy time. He had a great team of kids and enjoyed playing. He played center field, right field and pitched. His team came in third one tournament and did well in the other tournaments we played. They were disappointed to be knocked out of state after the second day but it was hard to play in 100 degree weather. Below are some pictures of his All Star experience this year.

Overdue Update

We have been crazy busy with All-Star baseball the last few weeks! I have not gotten any pictures yet but we have our state tournament this week and I will get some pics. Madison is growing so fast! She had her two month check up and boy has she grown! She weighs 10lbs.15oz. and is 21 1/2 inches long! She is starting to smile and laugh. She is also very aware when she hears one of us talking. Peyton enjoys talking to her and making her laugh. He is the best big brother.Madison had several firsts this week. She had her first shots which she did not like and her first trip to church which she slept through! Below are some random shots:

The only shots we got from her first church visit. This is in our Sunday school room. We were too late for Sunday school but early for preaching so we stopped in to say hi!

We have another busy week of baseball ahead! I can't believe it is almost July! Summer is flying by and Peyton will be 11 soon! I will try and update with some pictures from the baseball field soon.

Meeting Friends

On Monday the Kinards and Padgetts came over so their kids and husbands could meet Madison. The kids were so excited to meet her and too cute at the way they "petted her" (their words not mine).. We had a good night of grilling, slip and sliding and dancing! It was good times for all. The pictures are actually in the opposite order of the night but oh well as you can see we had a fun time.
