Snow Day

We got enough snow to get a day home from school! It was gone by the afternoon but we went out and enjoyed it the best we could! Madison and Lucy LOVED it!

40th Birthday Get Away

We took a weekend get away to celebrate my BIG birthday with the Kinard family. Our first stop was to the Cabbage Patch Hospital! I have always wanted to go because I loved these dolls as a kid and it was on the way to our cabin. It was a neat place to visit and the girls had fun!

After our adventures at cabbage patch we went on to the cabin we had rented. To say we had fun was an understatement. There was no cell phone service or Internet at the cabin and it was the perfect get away! We have been so blessed by the friendship of this family. When we are together everyone has the best time! The kids love the outdoor space and a blast playing outside! I must say it was the perfect way to celebrate a BIG birthday! I can't think of a better family to spend it with! Such fun memories were made! We stayed at the cabin all weekend and only left to grocery shop.

We took a quick trip through Helen on our way home. We looked in a few shops and ate some yummy burgers for lunch. It was such a wonderful weekend!
