Guess Who Is Headed to Junior High?

Peyton is headed to junior high in August! I just can' believe he is that old! We are so proud of him and his accomplishments. He had a very successful school year. He earned an award for highest average in Social Studies, All A's all year, National Beta Club and Spelling Bee Winner! We were so proud of him and all his hard work. Allen snapped some shots at his awards day program. I was not able to go because we had our Kindergarten awards day at the same time!

One Year Pics!

Madison had her one year pictures taken and they came out great! She was her usually ham self at for the photographer and really showed out.

Madison Turns 1!

Madison turned one on April 21st. We had a small party at our house for family and friends to celebrate. Despite having to postpone it a day due to her being sick we ended up having a great party! The kids enjoyed blowing bubbles, playing outside and eating yummy cake and ice cream. It was a great celebration!

Cubs Baseball

This year Peyton played for the Cubs and he had a fantastic year! The main position he played was pitcher and 3rd base. His team had a great year and came in second place for the championship. The were down by one and Peyton was up to bat in the championship game when a thunderstorm hit and they called the game! Needless to say we were disappointed that we didn't get to finish the game! Here are a few pictures of Peyton in action!

Here he is getting his trophy and medals from his coach. His coach is lovingly knocking his Duke hat off his head because he was a NC fan! We had a great year and Peyton made a lot of new friends!

Long Time, No Blog

We have been busy, busy and there has been no time for an update. Between baseball, school and work I have not had time. I promise now that school is out I will update more often. Here is a picture to tide you over until I can update!

Zoo Trip

We took a trip to Riverbanks Zoo on Saturday. It was Madison's first trip to the zoo and she loved it! She would point and make her "dog bark" sound whenever she saw an animal. It was too cute. Here are some pictures of my crew looking at animals.
