8 Months Pics

Madison At 8 Months

Our girl is 8 months old and boy is she getting to be a handful! She is so funny and keeps us entertained. Here are some highlights about her at 8 months:

• Is very close to crawling-she will put one hand forward, one knee and then stop. However, she rolls everywhere and finds a way to get where she wants to go.


• She stands with her legs straightened and hands on the floor.


• She loves,loves her brother-she smiles and laughs at him all the time.


• She loves to have silky blankets on her when she sleeps-she rubs anything silky on her face.


• She has a deep belly laugh and when she laughs it is so sweet!


• She is still not an adventurous eater-only likes sweet potatoes, green beans,applesauce, oatmeal and blueberries. She no longer cares for prunes and doesn't like trying new things.


• She likes to ride around the kitchen in her walker while I cook supper.


• Tries to figure things out-she will investigate things by holding them and examining them closely.


• Starting to have some stranger anxiety. She is aware when we leave a room and will let us know when she doesn't like it!


• Sits up very well and can go from laying down to sitting up on her own.


• Says "dada" all the time and talks to herself.


• Loves music and dancing! Will start jumping and moving when she hears music.


• Brightens up our lives everyday!
