Updates

We have had a whirlwind time since July! Things were busy with starting school and a little trip to China! We came home on September 9th and things have not slowed down. Here is a little update on everyone.

Peyton has started the Freshman Academy and is having a good year. He is amazing me everyday by being more and more grown up. It is unreal to believe he is in high school. He is a great help with his two sister and usually has to lend a hand with one of them. We are so proud of him and how well he is doing in school. He still enjoys video games and going to the football games on Friday nights. He is enjoying being active in the youth group at church. My baby boy has grown up!

Madison is growing more everyday! She is a funny girl and loves to sing and dance to herself. She loves her daddy's iPad and likes to do "homework". She is almost potty trained! This has been a lonnnng process but hopefully we are almost there. She has become a great big sister after a few weeks of adjusting. She likes to help with Lucy and will try to love on her. We still have our normal sibling moments but she is learning that being a big sister can be fun.
Lucy has been a part of our family for a little over a month. She fits right in and you would think she has been here all along. She has just started walking and is into everything! She is more interested in cleaning everything out of the cabinets than playing with toys. Some things Lucy has learned to do are clap, blow kisses, wave bye (backwards), say hi! She does say "mama and dada" . She is also learning to defend herself against bossy big sisters! She loves her blanket and will eat almost anything. We have discovered she doesn't have a sweet tooth like her dad and sister. She prefers veggies!
We are loving our life as a family of five! Things around our house can only be described as chaos on most days. Nothing stays clean, the laundry is never done and there are toys everywhere. But we are happy and loving this new adventure!
